It looks like ‘08 is the year of Dr. Dre. Word is we will see ”Detox” in 2008 along with 5 other Aftermath releases, including new albums from Bishop Lamont, Busta Rhymes, Slim, Stat Quo and more. Dre will provide three tracks for Busta’s new album. A new rumored street date of June 3rd for ”Detox” is circulating. Word is Dre also has plans for another ”Up In Smoke Tour” featuring Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, Bishop Lamont and more in summer 2008.

Eminem is comin’ folks! Rumor has his new album in stores March 2008. The rumored first single is called ”Pushin’” with a street single preceding it called ”King Mathers” feat. Ca$his. The album is tentatively titled ”Living Proof: The King Mathers LP.” The album’s first two singles will be produced by Dr. Dre with additional contributions from Scott Storch and Jonathan ”J.R.” Rotem.

Steve-o har gått ut i sin blog att han jobbar på att släppa ett rap album och att någon ifrån G-unit camp håller på hjälper honom med detta.”I’ve made my priority in life, at least for the last 2-3 weeks, the recording a great Steve-O rap album,” he wrote on his blog. “Making this album has been a magical experience– an adventure through wonderful, horrible, and everything in between. To anyone that chooses to be critical of my decision to make this rap album, I’ve got bad news for you, it’s a great album. I’ve been recording it with the producers of the one and only G-Unit and it is, indisputably, incredible, and made by the most talented people in rap music.”

This is not a joke! Aftermath’s newest soldier, Bishop Lamont, is mixing musical chemicals with his labelmates Eminem & Dr. Dre to create one of the biggest Hip Hop explosions the world has seen in years!
Bishop’s “The Reformation” will add a whole new meaning to a “blazing hot debut” (Aftermathmusic.com).
Eminem’s fifth solo Aftermath LP will have Slim coming back so strong that you’d think it was “The Marshall Mathers LP” on crack.
Dr. Dre’s “DETOX” will make your neck jerk so much that you’d need a neck-brace to keep your head from falling off! Ya’ll have no idea what the good Doctor has diagnosed for those eardrums so ya’ll better purchase some giant cutips because Aftermath is bringing back that classic magic!
Remember, you don’t want to get overwhelmed with the storm that’s coming our way. To help you prepare, there will be a crazy mix-tape called “N***** Noize” by Bishop Lamont chuuuchin’ to the streets real soon. The mix-tape is hosted by DJ Skee and it’s a little reminder of why Hip Hop is so great!
